Q: Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

A: If you are insured by an HMO or in some cases a PPO, your health plan will likely require a doctor’s referral for specialty medical care. This ensures you have a primary physician that is your main point of contact for all of your health needs, which helps maintain continuity of care and a secure location for your confidential medical files.


Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

A: To ensure you are seen quickly once you arrive and that your time with the physician is used effectively, it will be helpful if you download, print and complete our new patient medical forms. Also, please remember to bring your photo ID, insurance card and a list of any medications you’re taking.


Q: What are your regular office hours?

A: Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and we are closed on all federal holidays.


Q: What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

A: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us at 601-286-8698 at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees.


Q: Which insurance policies do you accept?

Q: Do you accept Medicaid?

Q: Will I see my Pain Treatment Center physician during my appointments or another doctor?

A: Every patient in our practice has a dedicated physician. If you need to make an urgent care appointment and your dedicated physician is unavailable, we may ask if you would like to see another physician or our nurse practitioner.
