Female Hormone Replacement Therapy
As women get older, hormones change and levels often decrease. Fortunately, female hormone imbalances and deficiencies can be treated.
At SynergenX Health, we are devoted to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), also known as menopausal hormone therapy, and estrogen replacement therapy, which uses the female hormones estrogen and progesterone to treat common symptoms of menopause and aging.
Our practice manages testosterone with variable dosing, and tailors the hormone treatment to each patient. We are not a one-size fits all program for hormone replacement therapy, setting us apart from other wellness centers. We monitor someone’s total testosterone, estrogen and blood thickening very closely, to minimize side effects. By replenishing the body's estrogen supply, HRT can help relieve menopause symptoms and guard against osteoporosis. HRT is given in a pill, gel, patch form, or as a vaginal cream or ring. Together we will decide which hormone replacement therapy method is best for you.
Prior to treatment, we will measure and evaluate the following hormone levels in women:
- Testosterone - free and total
- Human Growth Hormone (HGH)
With the onset of menopause, the amount of natural estrogen and progesterone the ovaries produce drops. Based on your unique hormone levels, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include weight management or vitamins and supplements to treat the following hormone-related symptoms in women:
- Hot flashes
- Night sweats
- Vaginal dryness
- Painful intercourse
- Mood changes
- Sleep problems
- Increased risk of osteoporosis
If you’ve been experiencing these symptoms, or just generally not feeling like yourself, chances are that you may have a hormone imbalance that needs to be addressed by a doctor.
